BELFRY NEWS
It is now 60 years since the bells were
retuned and re-
1950, and 160 years since their installation.
Andrew suggested that this merited some
special ringing, and we decided to attempt
2010 changes on the 8 bells.
Nigel Doyle composed a touch of Little Bob
and Plain Bob triples, a band was arranged,
and at 6 pm on September 23rd we pulled
off.
After some very enjoyable ringing the 2010
changes were completed in 1 hour and 10
minutes.
We are grateful to ringers from Brecon,
Aberdare and St. Mary's Swansea who
helped us make up a band, and to Nigel
Doyle who composed and conducted the
touch.
