WHAT ARE WORSHIP LEADERS?
Worship leaders perform a lay Ministry of leading worship in the Anglican church. They have to take a
training course.
In the Parish of Sketty 6 people who completed the course were:
Eifion and Jill Francis, Viv Lewis, Sue James,Gill Knight and Andrea Gould.
Also training are Alice Sullivan and Catherine Theron
This is a s 6-
of the local church. These Sessions are intended to combine theological and practical considerations.
They quite consciously draw Upon participants’ own experience and faith as they reflect together on the
challenges of how to worship meaningfully within the cultural context in which the Church finds itself.
They are also designed to provide practical experience and training in actually leading worship.
