HOLY TRINITY’S NEWS
THE FAMILY SERVICE
The PCC set up a MISSION GROUP who are
proposing an alternative approach to the Family
Service. The Family Service will still be held on the
first Sunday of the month at 9 -
shorter, non -
TEAMS will plan and lead the service and will
attempt to use different approaches to worship.
We hope to reach out to our children and young
people and encourage them and their friends to
attend and participate enabling them to develop their
faith along side the adults.
There will be a trial for six months that will be
evaluated. Suggestions and volunteers to share
their skills will be welcomed along with
constructive criticism.
We hope to incorporate the five principles behind
the growing churches that John Leach from
Monmouth Diocese spoke about at the last Governing
Body:
‘Young at heart ‘leaders.
Big vision.
Doing New things.
Taking risks.
Sharing Ministry.
We know that this is a big challenge and ask for your
help and support and for your prayers.
