WEDDINGS, BAPTISMS and SERVICES of THANKSGIVING

   Weddings, baptisms and services of thanksgiving

may all be organised to take place in the parish,

 either at St. Paul's or at Holy Trinity.

If you live in the parish, or have been worshipping with us for

 some  time, and you would like to consider one of these services,

please get in touch.

 

MARRIAGE WALES ACT 2010

You may not be aware of the Marriage (Wales) Act 2010,

which extends the qualifications which enable people

to marry in a particular church .

 

It includes

having  lived in the Parish, been Baptised,  Confirmed,

or had parents or Grandparents married there.  

It is now in effect.

 

   FUNERALS and MONUMENTS

  Funeral arrangements are often made through funeral directors,

and monumental mason can supply gravestones ,

but  please get in touch  if we can be of help.

 

 TRACING YOUR ROOTS

 St.  Paul's records go back to its foundation in 1850. Many registers have  been deposited with West Glamorgan Archive Service, where they can be  consulted, along with many others.  Some older

registers are deposited  elsewhere -  check the Genuki  site for

St Paul's. Before 1850 Sketty was within the Parish of St Mary's .
